ALMOND MERINGUE (Served with crushed berries)

By Gayatri Sakhuja Thedessertproject.in

food

“Made with egg whites and berries (which are super healthy and high-protein) this gluten-free and superlight recipe is perfect for dieting dessert-addicts! Just heat some powdered
sugar and add it to three egg whites (with almond extract added) as you whisk them into glossy peaks. Let them cool and serve on a bed of berries, sprinkled with almond flakes to garnish.”

BERRY SMOOTHIES

By Shivesh Bhatia Bakewithshivesh.blogspot.com

food

“Smoothies—healthy. Berries—healthy. How can you not combine the two? My recipe includes frozen berries, frozen bananas, some milk, yogurt and, my secret ingredient—oats. You just blend them together and serve them as I have—in bowls, which I think is much more fun. Berries are nutritious and full of anti-oxidants, and oats are filling while giving
you fibre. The biggest plus is how gorgeous this dish looks—very Instagrammable!”

AVOCADO FIG SALAD (Served with peanut butter smoothies)

By Richa Jaggi @creamandcrackle

food

“Salads are a go-to health food, but they can be really delicious. This flavourful recipe uses ripe avocados, red-leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese, spinach and fresh figs tossed in cold-pressed olive oil, and vinaigrette. The smoothies (made by blending skimmed milk and peanut butter with ground walnut, honey and cocoa power) makes you feel like you’ve had dessert, but you’ve really had a healthy drink instead!”

EGG AVOCADO TOASTIES

By Gunjan Sawhney Gluttonygoddess.com

food

“All this requires is making avocado paste (aka smashing a ripe avocado till it’s smooth), smearing it on toasted, multi-grain bread, and topping it up with a fried egg (cooked in low oil). Any novice can make it, plus it checks all the health boxes—egg for protein, bread for fibre, and avocado for potassium, magnesium, Vitamin C...the list is endless!
