Saturn Retrograde Is Over, aka Life Is Great Again ?

While te is def the most buzzworthy planetary motion (cancelled flights, glitchy iPhones, and weird BFF fights are no joke), Saturn Retrograde deserves a shout-out too!

Basically, Saturn is the taskmaster of the zodiac and represents learning hard lessons—whether we feel like learning them or not. Saturn moves slowwwly too—it takes about 29.5 years to orbit the Sun (aka why everyone freaks out right before age 30 when their Saturn Return happens)—and it’s been in its home sign of Capricorn since April 30th.

As a result, for the past four-ish months, you’ve probably felt like so much in your life has come to a screeching halt. You might have been more prone to procrastination at work or in school, felt less motivated at the gym, or just been so over the job hunt that you’ve been turning in “meh” cover letters. Instead of getting ahead, this has been the time to reexamine, reassess, redo (re-everything, really) around your relationships to discipline and boundaries. Told you this was heavy!

Things are about to get lighter and sparklier.

Thankfully, starting September 18th, Saturn goes direct again! This is the universe telling you to use the hard-earned knowledge you’ve gained during all that retrograding for your own good. Translation: Live and learn. And: Stop repeating the past. If you’ve done anything cringeworthy this past summer, forgive yourself and move forward. While you’re at it, give yourself props for your badass triumphs. Everyone’s goal (Saturn loves goals): Grow from that heavy dose of Saturn energy.

But most of all, enjoy this time! Things are about to get lighter and sparklier. Your to-do lists are more doable, that workout routine seems more fun than impossible, and everyone’s a little bit bubblier. Cheers!
