Every Single Movie That Has Ever Won Best Picture at the Oscars

Hollywood didn't forget these exist, even if you (def) did.

As awards season snubs get frustrating, the cynical among us start wondering if the Oscars even matter anymore. Can't we just like Little Women and Rocketman in peace? But looking back at the films that have won Best Picture at the Oscars...they do kind of matter. Even if you've never heard, seen, or realized any of these movies even won Oscars, you have to admit that they pretty much all helped to boost someone's career. These awards are kind of like a resumé, but with an obligatory red carpet appearance instead of a reference section.

Putting all of the cynicism and bad vibes aside, it's worth noting that there are tons of really good movies that have won Best Picture! (Does that make me sound like I'm saying The Beatles surprisingly have some pretty catchy tunes, or that Shakespeare's decent at playwriting? Sorry about that.) Before 2020 crowns the latest entry, here is every single film that has ever won Best Picture over the 91 years that the Academy Awards have been a thing.
