Is there anything hotter than a smoky eye? Um, no. It's the makeup equivalent of an LBD and sexy stilettos. Zendaya, uses chocolate shadow to intensify your sutry gaze while the rest of your look is minimal, but not boring. The best part: It's totes easier and faster to master than you'd think!

1. Ace Your Base: Using a fluffy foundation brush, apply and blend a matte baseall over to achieve an airbrushed finish that is #nofacetune-worthy.

2. Get In Line: Trace along your upper and lower lash lines with a soft black pencil like in Mocha Ebony.

3. Flip Your Lid: Switch to the brown side of your pencil (double-duty for the win!), and create a hashtag symbol across your eyelids. Then softly blend out the color as if it were eyeshadow using a blending brush or your fingertip. Which creates a base for the next step…

4. Throw Shade: Sweep deep brown shadow across your upper lid and along your lower lashline. If you're a little color-shy, try a lighter cappuccino shade. Nudes will have all the smoky hues you need to make this look your own.

5. Lighten Up: Tap a shimmery cream shade at the inner corners of your eyes and under your brow bones to highlight and add dimension.

6. Lash Out: A smoky eye requires extra dramatic lashes — otherwise they'll get lost in the dhazy hues. Layer two to three coats of fiber-packed mascara on your top and bottom lashes. The formula is major — the little fibers grab onto your natural fringe and basically act like lash extensions without any smudging or panda eyes. But be warned — you will want to wink at everyone.

7. Be a Bronzed Bombshell: Skip blush which can look too made up with a statement eye. Instead, enhance your cheeks with a hint of bronzer. Sweep from the apples of your cheeks up toward your temples and glow on.

8. Go Nude: Keep lips extra kissable with a barely-there balm. Caramel is a great sheer nude shade that also leaves your pout super soft.

9. Lock It In: Dust a mattifying power across your T-zone and cheeks to set your look and nix any shine.
