A 23-year-old Brazilian woman and YouTube star who's been called a Human Barbie says that when people on the street see her, they run away in "disgust," according to the Daily Mail

Andressa Damiani has a 20-inch waist and says her "doll-like features" are all completely real, though she admitted she wears blue-colored contacts. She told the Daily Mail that when she was a child, she had no friends and that people often bullied her for her looks. When she was in her early 20s and sick of feeling like she couldn't meet Brazil's beauty standards, she says she decided to "embrace her Human Barbie appearance." In 2012, she started producing YouTube videos that showed people how to achieve the Human Barbie look, and soon enough, she racked up more than 600,000 subscribers.

Damiani says people often assume she's had surgery — she says the only thing she uses to highlight her looks is makeup — or is anorexic or sick in some way, and that while she's found some fame in Brazil from fans who think she looks like a human doll or Frozen's Elsa (see above for an Elsa makeup tutorial Damiani posted to her YouTube account recently), she's also had strangers come up to her on the street and tell her they're "disgusted" to see her, and said that people run away when they see her on the street.

"People think I'm insane and I only care for beauty but they shouldn't be afraid," she said. "I want to show the world that everyone can be a doll. You don't have to be skinny or blonde — just create your own look and be happy."
