6 Non Hair-Washing Things You Can Do With Your Shampoo

Shampoo is no longer exclusive to your bathroom shelf so grab your bottle and prepare to be amazed, because did you know you can use your shampoo to:

1. Wash the dishes.Shampoo is much more gentle on skin. If normal soap makes your hands dry, try using shampoo. Plus, it's effective at cleaning plates too, which you know, is good.

2. Clean your makeup brushes.

You've probably admitted to not cleaning your makeup tools as often as you should, but using shampoo means you don't actually have a legit excuse not to do it on the reg, because you always have shampoo. You can also use it to clean your hairbrush too, because, hands up, who's never done that? ??? It's easy too — so again, no excuse! — just pull all the hair out of it, leave to soak in a bowl of warm water for 10 to 15 minutes, leave them to dry, and voilà!

3. Clean delicate clothes. You all know how expensive those hand-wash only products are, but shampoo does the job just as well — if not better. Use in the same way as you would the normal stuff and then rinse out.

4. Give yourself a DIY mani or pedi.Soaking your hands or feet in shampoo and warm water will leave them feeling silky soft, and it'll clean your cuticles too. Who knew?!

5. Stop the bathroom mirror from fogging.

It's probably just me who gets very annoyed when my mirrors fog from all the steam in the bathroom. But if you get annoyed too, pour a little bit of shampoo on a paper towel, rub it into the mirror and then use a clean cloth to wipe it away. Then watch and be amazed next time you have a shower.

6. Wash your body. Run out of shower gel or just have no room to pack it in your case? Don't freak, because shampoo makes the best alternative. But you probably already knew that one, right?
