Instagram Star Who Lost Half Her Body Weight Proudly Shares Her Stretch Marks

26 year old Conner Rensch is quite literally half the woman she used to be after losing 57 kgs over 2 years.

On her website, Conner describes how she had battled with her weight for as long as she could remember. "Since the age of 6, I battled with acceptance and self-love, resulting in a constant struggle with an unhealthy weight. I was bullied at school and would use food as a comfort. I felt alone and misunderstood. I knew I was a good person, so it was very confusing to me that people were judging me because of my size. My over-eating and shame only lead to more weight gain and unhappiness. At my highest weight, I was 271 pounds!"

When she turned 19, Conner decided to change her lifestyle, and with the help of a nutritionist and personal trainer gradually lost the weight. She is now a motivational speaker giving talks in schools and universities to young women who struggle with body image.

Understandably keen to share the results of her hard work, Conner uses Instagram to post before and after pictures, which are seriously inspiring.

And if you ever felt uncomfortable about your stretch marks (which you shouldn't because we all have them btw) listen to Conner. "I have stretch marks and scars. They tell a story and that is beautiful."

Amen.
