12 Movies on Netflix You Had No Idea Your Fave Was In

Time to revisit the lesser-known gems in the Blake Lively and Channing Tatum catalogs.

12 Movies on Netflix You Had No Idea Your Fave Was In

1. Channing Tatum, The Eagle

Between his star turns in Dear John and Magic Mike, Channing appeared in The Eagle as Marcus Flavius Aquila, a Roman soldier trying to redeem his family's honor. Fun fact: Channing burned the skin off his penis while filming this! (It has since healed.)

2. Kerry Washington, Save the Last Dance

Maybe you know that Kerry Washington was in this 2001 sleepover staple, but didn't know who she was back then, or just haven't seen it since Shonda Rhimes turned her into Olivia Pope. Either way, the movie turned 15 this year, so now's as good a time as any to revisit this classic of the teen dance movie genre. Also look out for Buffy and Pretty Little Liars star Bianca Lawson, who recently became Beyoncé's stepsister.

3. Blake Lively, Hick

Hick follows the story of 13-year-old Luli (Chloë Grace Moretz), who runs away from home to go to Las Vegas. Blake plays Glenda, a charming criminal with giant hair and a Southern accent. It happens to be Blake's lowest-rated movie on Rotten Tomatoes (5 percent), but everything can't be as perfect as The Age of Adaline. (That is not sarcasm. I love The Age of Adaline.)

4. Zac Efron, The Paperboy

Nicole Kidman pees on Zac Efron in this. That is all you need to know.

5. Mila Kunis, Get Over It

This is not the first time I have implored Cosmopolitan.com readers to watch Get Over It, and I feel confident it won't be the last. Mila plays Basin (LOL what), best friend of Kelly (Kirsten Dunst), and ends up — spoiler alert — kissing Sisqó at the end of the school play. Yes, that Sisqó. 2001 was a wonderful time to be alive.

6. Daniel Radcliffe, Horns

Daniel has made many attempts to shed his Harry Potter past, but none has succeeded as well as Horns, in which he plays a young man named Ig who's accused of murdering his girlfriend. The crazy part, however, is that he grows horns that force people to tell him the truth. So Ig is probably a Slytherin then.

7. Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez, Lila & Eve

Two badasses for the price of one!

8. Ed Westwick, Chalet Girl

When you're run through every season of Gossip Girl, move onto this rom-com where Ed plays a rich boy who woos Kim (Felicity Jones), a snowboarder working for fancy people in the Alps. The best part is that Ed gets to speak in his real-life British accent.

9. Anne Hathaway, Becoming Jane

In her pre-Oscar days, Anne played Jane Austen in this period film about the rom-com master's real-life romance with Thomas Lefroy, thought to have inspired the character of Mr. Darcy.

10. Leonardo DiCaprio, Marvin's Room

Perhaps you've heard of this Baby Leo classic but never watched it because you were too busy rewinding the pool scene in Romeo + Juliet over and over again. The time is now!

11. Jennifer Lawrence, Serena

Believe it or not, J.Law has made movies that are not directed by David O. Russell or part of the Hunger Games franchise, and this is one of them. There's no bow and arrow, but Jennifer does wield an ax!

12. Liam Hemsworth, Empire State

Speaking of The Hunger Games, those of you on Team Gale can check Liam out in this as an armored car robber being chased by Detective Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Good luck to the robbers; they're definitely going to need it.

Bonus: Robert Pattinson, Vanity Fair

His scenes were deleted from this adaptation of the William Makepeace Thackeray novel, but thanks to the internet, you can watch them all here, right now! (The rest of the movie, though R-Pattz-less, is pretty good too.)
