I don't know about you, but when I receive a text from a wrong number, I just tend to ignore it. After quick 'who is this?' reply back, of course.
But it turns out some people know how to have a lot more fun than I do with mobile phone mix-ups, like this one guy, who received a text from a stranger looking for someone called Ross (not his name), so he decided to play a little game.
A game of 'let's pretend I'm Ross Gellar and make a load of Friends jokes', to be precise.Which is obviously brilliant and I don't know why anyone else in a similarly applicable situation hasn't thought of sooner.
Anyway, he decided to post the whole thing on to Reddit so we could all share in his Friends-related lols, and we're loving it.
Here's how it played out:
TBH, we're not sure how the anonymous texter at the other end of the conversation didn't get the endless Friends references for so long. Because surely there's no-one on this planet under the age of, like, 50 who doesn'tknow what Friends is? Come on, seriously?
Great stuff.
