Bananas Might NOT Be So Great for Breakfast

You're running late - it's probably hair washing day - and so there just isn't enough time for your usual porridge/coco pops/weetabix (delete appropriately) routine. But all is not lost because your mum/past self has done you good and brought a bunch of nanas, and we all know nanas are the perfect grab and go breakfast.

But in news that's set to devastate a nation the fruit isn't a good option according to nutritionalist Dr. Daryl Gioffre. He said they might give you a quick boost but in the end they're going to leave you feeling tired.

"Bananas seem like the perfect option to grab and go in the morning, but with a closer look, you'll find that bananas eaten alone aren't the best option because they're 25% sugar and moderately acidic."

Her advice is to pair it with a healthy fat or spice to combat the negative effects, and you're more likely to be full till lunch.

Oh well, at least we know they're still good for practising our condom techniques. Nobody can take that away from them.

And they're also great when you just spell it out while singing. Gwen Stefani can 100% preach for that.
