What Your Sleep Position Says About Your Best Quality as a Couple

What on the surface appears to be a tender, tight hug from behind is actually bringing you into perfect bump-and-grind mode, which is likely to lead to other things. Everyone says "awww" when they see you, when in actuality, you just did the deed in a Taco Bell bathroom. The best of both worlds, really.

If your move is to nuzzle into one's chest and revel feeling close to their heart <3 you either just started dating yesterday, or you're just so kind and loving to each other that it still feels like the honeymoon period. You know attraction isn't just about sex; it's about still giving your S.O. a peck even when they accidentally ordered you a side salad instead of fries.

As one of you drifts away, the other has to reach out and hold them — even if it means both of you teetering toward the edge of the bed. You'll similarly be there for each other in bigger life events — when you have to do a long-distance relationship, when he gets a tattoo you secretly hate, etc.

You're so goddamn in love that you literally sleep with all your limbs entwined and your faces super close to each other. You're fueled by a passion that makes everyone at a party immediately go "oh woah, yeah, they're together" (also, you are usually making out in a corner somewhere.) Who's to say if the flame will always burn so brightly, but yours is the kind of relationship that would be turned into a Ryan Gosling movie (one where he's shirtless.)

If your go-to sleep position is turning away so ONLY YOUR BUTTS CAN TOUCH, you are obviously two goobers who have fortunately found each other in this world. While other couples worry about accidentally farting near the other person, you're at the comfort level of discussing your gnarly coffee poops on a daily basis. You take "being yourself around the other person" to an entirely new level, and it's beautiful.

While all the other suckers are enduring extra body heat on 95 degree nights and sacrificing arm comfort for a feeling of intimacy, you two feel completely fine on your own. You proudly take your side of the bed, turn in whatever direction you please (usually away from each other's snoring mouths), and have yourself a legitimately flawless night of sleep. And then you cuddle.

You've switched jobs, apartments, and morning routines as often as you switch sleeping positions in one night (which is a lot, considering how fidgety you both are.) Despite both changing in so many ways, and going through several hair phases that weren't all the best, you've always managed to grow together and will probably continue to do so!
