The 8 Most Mind-Blowingly Adorable Gay Wedding Photos Of 2015

With the Supreme Court of the United States ruling that legalised gay marriage across all 50 states this past summer, the internet saw more crazy adorable and beyond stunning LGBT wedding photos in 2015 than ever before. Here are the ones we heart the most.

1. The couple who got married in the desert.

Monica and Angel had been together for eight years when the gay marriage ban in their home state of Arizona was suddenly lifted last year and they planned the most gorgeous mountaintop wedding in the desert. Angel was so happy to finally be marrying her soulmate, saying, "Together we are raising a beautiful and confident daughter, and we're always looking for the next adventure. I call her my 'all in one' because she is my soul mate, best friend, my side kick, and sometimes she irritates me like a sister. I am so thankful we live in a time when I can legally marry my all in one."

2. The couple who dressed all 10 of their bridesmaids in wedding gowns.

When newlywed couple Deri Rogers and Ben Wood of Fairwater, Wales, were planning their wedding, they had a hard time choosing the dresses for their bridesmaids. Naturally, they decided the only solution was to let them all wear wedding dresses. Rogers told Wales Online, "I figured every wedding needs a wedding dress — so why not 10?" The couple says the bridesmaids definitely "stole the limelight," but they wouldn't have had it any other way. Clearly these men are perfect people.

3. The YouTube couple who share the same name.

Anyone who has seen Rose and Rosie's YouTube channel knows that their channel bio of "come and get high off our love" is totally accurate. So, obviously their wedding was going to be similarly breathtaking and wonderful. Rose called it the most perfect day of her life and Rosie simply said, "I've never ever, ever been happier." Which is an interesting coincidence because "never been happier" is how I feel when I look at their photos.

4. The couple who took photos in front of a rainbow wall.

Joe and Rob traveled from Canada to elope in NYC. Nicky of De Nueva Photography says their one wedding photo request was that they take some photos while standing in front of this rainbow wall. It was clearly worth it.

5. The couple who got married in the woods.

Jennifer and Shereta got hitched in Boston in an intimate ceremony in front of family members in the woods. Photographer Sam Liang said, "It was amazing to witness this beautiful same-sex interracial couple proclaim their love for each other."

6. The couple who got married in front of a gay landmark.

Nicky of De Nueva Photography says MJ was visiting her long distance partner Ira when they decided spur of the moment to tie the knot in front of the historic Stonewall Inn in the West Village. And to add to the cuteness, it also happened at sunrise. Afterwards, Nicky said they walked around the area taking photos in front of other places the couple loved. You don't get much cuter than that.

7. The couple who covered each other in paint.

Cassie and Heather both share a love of arts and crafts, so photographer Sam Liang says he decided to put their love of art to good use. "We decided to trash their dresses after their wedding with colourful paints." Honestly though, those dresses look way better post-painting.

8. The couple who got married on a beach near the gay bar where they first met.

Daniel and Ryan got married at McLoon's Pier House in New Jersey. Daniel says that many of their guests told them it was the first "gay wedding" they'd ever attended, but the couple says it was "no different than other weddings, it was two people who love each other getting married." Daniel says that he and Ryan met each other six years prior at a gay bar called Paradise, so it seemed fitting that they exchanged vows on the beach just down the road from where they met. Daniel says they "couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day, in every way." Goodbye, guys. I need to go get tissues. I've run out.
