Khloe Kardashian Hosting a Talk Show, There Will Be "Kocktails"

Mama Kris is glowering somewhere in the background, you just know it.

In news sure to make Kris Jenner bristle if nothing else, the FYI network just announced they're hosting a new talk show featuring Khloe Kardashian as the hostess. And she'll be the hostess quite literally, because Kocktails With Khloe - yes, that's really the show's name - will feature her putting on "intimate" dinner parties for her famous friends. Each episode will be "filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and outrageously fun party games." If you think about it, the show represents an icebreaker/party game in itself basically - haven't we all answered Khloe Kardashian, Courtney Love, and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg when asked which three celebrities we'd have dinner with when given the "what if" choice?! (Sub out Courtney Love for Marie Antoinette if dead people are allowed, because you know the icebreakers' terms vary.)

In the press release announcing the show, Gena McCarthy, senior vice president of programming at FYI, describes Khloe as "an iconic millennial voice." Kockails With Khloe's executive producer adds that she represents "aspirational pop culture." After all, we'll all want her place settings, I bet. In her own statement, Khloe said that the show (on which she's also credited as an executive producer) "is something I'm extremely proud of." "I'm lucky that I've been able to invite fans into my life and home on a weekly basis," she continued, referencing the KUWTK reality juggernaut and its many spin-offs, "and this show will give me an opportunity to continue to do that with new and exciting guests." Again, fingers crossed Justice Ginsberg shows up with some creamed corn at some point.
