Prime Minister Modi recently visited Chennai to take stock of all the damage caused by the devastating floods by rainwater.

He tweeted the following regarding his Chennai visit:

But then the official media agency of the government, Press Information Bureau tweeted this clearly photoshopped picture of the prime minister surveying the flood hit areas of Chennai:

Even though PIB India deleted the tweet, it has gotten a lot of people questioning just why a government news agency would share an obviously fake photo?
