Women Try, Hilariously Fail to Have a Conversation About Feminism With New Talking Barbie

The new interactive Hello Barbie is out (and it's already stirring up some ~controversy~). This Barbie isn't just a doll operated on a pull string that repeats a few pre-recorded phrases; Hello Barbie is actually programmed (with the help of a mobile app) to engage and communicate with users. Buzzfeed plopped the new toy in the hands of some women to see what would happen if they tried to talk to this new interactive toy about feminism. You can just imagine how well that went. 

"What do you think about the wage gap, Barbie?" asks one woman.

"I love it!" she replies. Well, this is going well. 

"Barbie, do you know what second-wave feminism is?" asks another.

"Well, cereal sounds delicious," Barbie says. Cereal, while distinctly not second-wave feminism, is indeed quite delicious.
