Adidas Just Shut Down LGBT Haters in the Best Way

Adidas have put up two fingers to homophobia and all through the wonderful use of Instagram.

The sportswear brand posted a pic on Valentine's Day celebrating love with the caption "The love you take is equal to the love you make".

The picture features two women from the thighs down with one on tiptoes looking as though she is kissing the other.

The whole thing is so totally sweet we just had to share it.

Sadly, not everyone feels the same way as we do and the post has been subject to the all-too-frequent torrent of homophobic abuse social media seems to breed.

The good news is that for every stupid comment from a homophobic user, at least 10 others piped up to defend Adidas and the LGBT community.

Yay for love!

And it wasn't just Adidas' followers piping up to defend the photo, the brand themselves hopped online every now and then to tell the haters exactly what they thought.

When one user called shame on the brand and announced they were 'going to Nike now', Adidas responded with a waving hand emoji and a kiss.

And when another went on a rant about how Valentine's Day should be for girls and boys, not for lesbians, Adidas' response was just wonderful...

Thanks Adidas for educating the world in the ways of love - and for your awesome trainers.
