Uber is Being Made into a Film

Over the past couple of years, Uber has become an integral part of our everyday lives, transforming our commutes and making life a hell of a lot easier.

But now, it seems the app is set to infiltrate our cultural lives, as Fox have forked out a six-figure deal for an action-comedy about an Uber driver named Stu.

So what do we know so far? The film will be named Stuber, yes really, and it will follow one particularly eventful night in the life of an Uber driver, which is said to be 'harrowing'.

Even more surprising is that it's not even the first time this has happened. The original Uber film, 9 Rides, which features a driver who receives some life-changing news during one busy night on the road, premiered at South by Southwest just last month.

But what will become of Uber driver Stu? Will UberPool feature? Will he receive a less than perfect rating? Who knows, but for a six-figure deal we're hoping for something pretty special.  ​
