16 Struggles Anyone That Only Wears Black Will Understand

1. White deodorant marks are the bane of your life. The first company to make a spray that actually doesn't leave white streaks across your clothes will make millions.

2. You sometimes worry that people think you wear the exact same top and trousers every single day. No, you just have the same outfit 15 times over.

3. You haven't bought so many nice things because they don't come in black. Farewell to all the clothes you left in the fitting rooms because they only come in blushed pink or navy.

4. Mayonnaise is your nemesis. Why does it taste so good but stain so badly?

5. Finding something to wear to a wedding is a NIGHTMARE. Is wearing black strictly forbidden? Is it really an unwritten rule? Can someone make an exception for us? SO MANY QUESTIONS.

6. Sometimes you question all your life choices when you realise you've spent a lot of money on a pair of jeans that to the naked eye just look plain and black. And to 'the naked eye' we mean anyone who wears more colour than just black.

7. There's nothing more annoying than two shades of black that don't match. You know when dark black doesn't look good with grey black even though you thought it would? Yeah.

8. You're sick and tired of being told to 'brighten up' and asked if you're a goth. Nope.

9. You get very, very hot in the summer months, but it's a small price to pay when it comes to overheating or having to wear something other than a black dress.

10. Petting animals should come with a 'these hairs will show up on your clothes for the rest of eternity' label, because seriously, loose hairs will always be visible on your jeans and coat from that moment onwards.

11. You kind of dread the thought of your wedding day, because you're not sure you're ever going to be able to wear a white dress. Then again, these awesome black wedding dresses are quite up your street..

12. You kind of hate putting your black denim in the wash because you know it'll fade the colour and yeah, nobody wants that.

13. Shopping between May-September is a bit of a nightmare because suddenly all your fave shops are like BAM colour, florals and prints, but it's OK because all your clothes look the same and are transeasonal anyway.

14. And don't even talk to us about getting makeup marks around the collar. Whoever says it's worse on white tops is lying.

15. You feel like the places you can shop is narrowly limited by colour palette, and usually only ever find stuff you like in Zara, H&M and sometimes Topshop.

16. But ultimately, it's all worth it because wearing black is a way of life and you love it. True story.

Sound familiar? Same.
