A Dad Uses Siri to Text His Daughter and It Does Not Go Well

Trying to navigate our parents through the ever-complicated world of technology and social media is a nightmare. Pretty funny, yea, but still a nightmare.

We've all been there when you're trying to Facetime your mum but all you can see is her forehead, or when they use the aubergine emoji to actually symbolise food - but this dad has gone and had a mare with another minefield… Siri.

Dad-shaming daughter and Twitter user @punkcas received a loving text from her dad. But, instead of typing it, he'd been super techy and dictated it through Siri.

Only problem was that he just didn't quite get it and a message that was intended to be short, sweet and full of love ended up being pretty blunt and accusatory.

Daughter Kellie posted this classic parent fail on Twitter and despite his uncool tech faux par, he must feel pretty cool now he's gone viral.

We give him a solid 10 points for effort and another 10 for being the cutest dad of the year. ​
