“While travelling, the only two things I care about is keeping my skin hydrated and protected. I know it’s cliché, but I drink a lot of water (it prevents my skin from breaking out due to all the junk food one ends up eating), and carry a nongreasy moisturiser. That’s why Pond’s BB+ Cream is a travel companion—it’s a moisturiser, sunscreen and spot-corrector all rolled into one. I wear minimal makeup, and rely on an oil-rich lip balm and a cheek tint to add some colour to my face; and refreshing wet wipes to keep my skin hydrated during long-haul flights.”

“My beauty philosophy is ‘less is more’—and when I’m travelling, my beauty bag is prepped with everything I could need. But the two products that I always have on me are the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate, my favourite lipstick of the moment (right now, I’m obsessed with Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Mauve It).”

“For me, beauty has everything to do with skincare. And while travelling, I carry all the ‘nutrients’ my skin would need in any kind of weather. My absolute essentials are May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon Beauty Balm Concentrate and The Youth Dew (it keeps my skin hydrated and fresh), Farsali Rose Gold Elixir (it works as an excellent primer), Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud Dry Body Oil, and Peony & Blush Suede Body Crème (weather changes make my skin very dry), Baby Bum Sun Bum SPF 40, and Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder (it keeps shine at bay, and is perfect for touch-ups).”

“I’m an outdoorsy person, so I always have sunscreen with me—I swear by the one by Avène. My other must haves include a face mist, moisturiser, BB cream, lip balm, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and perfume. I like to try new products, so apart from Avène and Forest Essentials, I’m not particularly loyal to any other.”

“I carry a lot of products...mostly make-up, as I like to try different looks. I’m a M·A·C fan and I really like their Ruby Woo lipstick, lip pencil in Cherry, and Studio Fix Perfecting Powder—they’re my go-to for a night-out. I also love the Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream for day (it gives me great coverage and has SPF too), Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (it’ll make your lashes look like falsies!), L’Oréal eye pencil, Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (very important to turn around skin damage after all the sun exposure), Caudalie Grape Water (for fresh-looking skin, always), and Tom Ford White Patchouli perfume (it’s the best perfume ever).”

“Skincare has always been my top priority, and my ultimate travel essential is the Lakmé 9To5 CC Cream. This cream moisturises and brightens skin, and is also packed with SPF 30—it acts like my very own invisible stylist that ensures I look radiant and glamourous all day long. As I wear make-up almost every day for shoots, my go-to holiday look is all about clear skin, nude lips and a hint of mascara—it makes one look fresh in pictures!”

“I like to travel light and only carry products that I will end up using. The two constants in my beauty pouch are the Effaclar Moisturizer (it’s very hydrating and not greasy at all); and the Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water
Spray; it’s one of the best things I’ve used in a long, long time. When it comes to make-up, I have a pouch that’s always stocked with the products I regularly use. I like to let my skin breathe when I’m on a holiday, and only carry the M·A·C waterproof Foundation and Strobe Cream, an eyebrow pencil and a few lipsticks.”

“I don’t carry too many things when I’m travelling, but the few things I can’t do without are La Roche-Posay’s Ultra Light Spray SPF 50 (it lets you be out and about in the sun without worrying about skin damage), Smith’s Rosebud Salve (you can use it as a lip balm and and on the cheeks too), and L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream.”

“I always have a li’l bag of products ready, in case I need to travel on short notice. I carry a few things and buy others locally. My heroes are Mario Badescu Herbal Hydrating Serum (it forms a veil on the skin and protects it from drying, no matter the weather), NARS Radiance Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30, Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet, Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation and Forever Kohl Pencil, Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner, Ruby’s Organics Lip Balm, and any mascara I’m currently trying.

“I travel a lot, and that can really take a toll on the skin. That’s why I’m very particular about skincare. I love natural products and use a lot of products by Kama Ayurveda—their Rose Facial Spray and Kokum & Almond Body Butter are both excellent. I have a hectic layering regime: I start by spritzing the Rose Spray, then use the Kama Amritam Rose Face Gel, followed by a hydrating balm, and lock-in the moisture with a face oil. Along with that, I always carry the Smashbox Primer Oil and O-Glow (together, they’ll make your skin glow like a light bulb), Nuxe Bio Beaute Tinted Repairing Lip Balm, and Maybelline New York Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara.”

“I’m obsessed with taking care of my hair and skin. My holiday essentials’ list is huge, and the products that I always have on me are: Bioderma Sensibo H2O, L’Oréal Paris Gentle Lip And Eye Make-Up Remover, Kérastase
Discipline Shampoo, Reflection Masque and Nutritive Nectar Thermique, Lancaster Sun Sport Invisible Mist SPF 50, Chanel Le Blanc Serum, Fenty Beauty Concealer, Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil, Maybelline Mascara, Kat Von D eyeliner, Kama Ayurveda lip balm, Shanaz Hussain eye cream, and a couple of lipsticks that also double up as blush.”

“I know everyone talks about keeping skin hydrated, but for me, under eyes are my main focus—since long-haul flights can land you with massive bags! And the La Mer Intense Eye Balm or La Prairie White Caviar Illuminating Eye Serum take care of that for me. I follow my skincare routine wherever I am. It involves cleansing with the Dior Hydra Life Lotion To Foam Cleanser, followed by Guerlain Super-Aqua Day Cream, and Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream WetForce SPF 50+. As for make-up, I swear by the Dior Hydra Life Water BB Cream (it gives you just the right amount of coverage with a dewy finish), DiorShow Lash Extension Effect Volume Mascara (it has literally changed my life), Givenchy Lip And Cheek Tint, and NARS lipstick in Dragon Girl.”

“The most important thing for me while travelling is a good, all-season moisturiser. I have just started using the new Pond’s day cream along with the Derma+ serum, and I love it—they’re both extremely lightweight, and at the
same time, very hydrating. I like fresh, dewy skin and, for that, I resort to lavender facial oil (it’s soothing and keeps my skin plump), and spray a face mist to re-hydrate it. That, with a hint of a kohl, mascara and lip tint, and you can take me anywhere!”
