Dakota Johnson kept it classy at the Oscars this year with a sleek hairdo, soft make-up and a rose pout. The Fifty Shades Darker actor kept her hairstyle minimal yet elegant as she wore her hair straight with a knot at the back of her head. It's drastically different from her 2016 Oscars look where she sported a ponytail with bangs and a bright red pout to match with the Saint Lauren gown.

This year, Alicia Vikander stole the limelight (yet again!) with her Oscars beauty look. Sporting a relaxed top bun and minimal make-up, she def knows how to keep things simple yet elegant.

Last year, the The Danish Girl star recreated Disney princess Belle's  look with a half-up topknot, custom yellow Louis Vuitton dress and a sun-kissed look.

Emma Stone looked like a dream at the 89th Academy Awards in that Givenchy dress paired with old Hollywood waves, warm-toned make-up and a brick-red pout. This look was slightly different from her hair and make-up during the Oscars last year where she rocked a pretty pink lip along with wavy, half-up hair.

Chrissy Teigen looked flawless at the Academy Awards this year in that loose, centre-parted up-do and nude make-up. Last year, the American model sported a messy braid that took her hair game to the next level.

Her hair was braided into five sections, starting at the crown and tied together in a low ponytail. Later, the ponytail, was braided and given a messy finish using TRESemmé products.

Brie Larson killed it on the Oscars red carpet with her wet-look waves swept over to one side along with an orange-red pout and bold, defined lashes.

Last year, the Room actor wore her hair in a half-updo, parted down in the centre and accessorised with a gorg barrette at the back. Her polished waves complimented the hot pink lip and the bright blue dress perfectly.
