Confetti Eyeliner is the COOLEST Way to Upgrade Your Flick

Hands up, if the eternal struggle for a flawless eyeliner flick is ruining your makeup game? ​Yep, life is so damn hard when you have high liner goals. 

But makeup artist and beauty-grammer, Katie Jane Hughes, has devised a pretty dreamy alternative to the classic cat-eye. 

After scrolling through her feed I stumbled across one of the coolest feline flicks I've seen since bubble liner, and naturally began screen-shotting like a crazy person. And what was it that sent me into such a spin, you ask? Confetti eyeliner.

Katie switched up the standard, smooth eyeliner flick for a dotty version, and the result is ah-mazing.​..

Although it looks like a mini work of art, confetti liner is actually pretty easy to recreate. 

Start by adding a dot to the outer corner of your eye - where you want the flick to end - and this will act as a guide to ensure your cat-eye doesn't end up going OTT. Then, begin to fill in your flick by dotting with the tip of your eyeliner, instead of drawing it on smoothly. Alternate between a white and grey liquid liner, if you fancy recreating Katie's monochrome confetti eye. 

If you like a little more colour in your cat-eye, go bold with a technicolour version instead...
