If you thought Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding couldn't get any more extra, think again.
Fans were still talking about Swift's custom Dior Haute Couture gown, the celebrity guest list, and that iconic "JUST&T MARRIED" sign when another detail from the couple's big day emerged, one that has everyone doing a double-take. Instead of handing guests a standard wedding favour, the newlyweds reportedly turned their reception into a full-blown luxury raffle, complete with Cartier watches, designer handbags, and even a vintage car.
According to multiple reports, guests were encouraged to take part in games throughout the reception. Every game earned attendees raffle tickets, which were later used to enter prize draws. It was a playful way to get everyone mingling while adding an unexpected twist to what was already one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year.
The biggest talking point was, unsurprisingly, the prizes. Alongside Cartier watches and several luxury designer handbags, one incredibly lucky guest reportedly walked away with a vintage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible. And this wasn't just any classic car. It was the same model Swift and Kelce famously drove away in after their first public outing following a Kansas City Chiefs game in 2023, making it one of the sweetest nods to their love story. The car even came with a custom licence plate reading "JUST&TMRD", matching the playful phrase that appeared throughout the wedding celebrations.
The identities of the raffle winners have largely remained under wraps, much like almost everything else about what many are already calling the wedding of the decade.
For those living under a rock, Swift and Kelce got married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The wedding reportedly hosted around 1,000 guests and quickly turned into a Hollywood red carpet, with the who's who of showbiz in attendance. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Adam Sandler, Dakota Johnson, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, and Karlie Kloss were reportedly among the celebrity guests, alongside several Kansas City Chiefs players and other NFL stars.
Interestingly, Swift's former best friend Blake Lively was reportedly absent from the celebrations following their highly publicised fallout during the Justin Baldoni controversy. While early reports suggested that the pop star had invited Lively, her absence from the wedding appeared to put those rumours to rest.
Swift and Kelce also skipped the traditional bridal party, choosing her brother, Austin Swift, as her man of honour, while Jason Kelce stood beside the groom as best man. And, in what is perhaps the most unexpected detail of the evening, Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are also said to have performed during the celebrations, while guests enjoyed an elaborate dinner before dancing late into the night.
The couple also ensured the celebrations remained private by enforcing a strict no-phone policy and asking guests to sign non-disclosure agreements.
And while the world waits for the official wedding photos, these behind-the-scenes details are more than enough to keep Swifties busy decoding every Easter egg. From Cartier watches and designer bags to a vintage Chevy straight out of the couple's love story, it's safe to say Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce didn't just throw a wedding, they gave everyone a celebration they'll probably be talking about for years.
