It seems like every day, there’s a brand-new challenge going viral on social media. Remember the Mannequin Challenge, where everyone would drop whatever it is they were doing to freeze and strike a pose better than Madonna? And how could we forget the extremely concerning and highly dangerous Tide Pod Challenge, in which teens ate...actual Tide Pods (eeks)! While these have passed, the Internet has been taken over by the #DollyPartonChallenge frenzy (that’s right, she has her own challenge. If you are wondering what the heck is going on, browse no further! Allow us to break it down for ya!

 

So, how did this challenge begin?

 

It all started when Dolly posted a photo compilation of four "versions" of herself—which were represented by LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder—to Instagram this past Tuesday. LinkedIn Dolly looked super profesh in a fitted, checked blazer, while Tinder Dolly was dressed up in a super-sexy Playboy costume. “Get you a woman who can do it all,” she captioned the post, which couldn’t fit the bill better if she tried. 

 

Now, since errrybody loves Dolly, celebrities in America (even Cosmo US) joined in, making the challenge go viral. Have a looksee.

 

 

And before you knew it, Bollywood celebrities had joined the fun #DollyPartonChallenge bandwagon and were #BreakingTheInternet.
