After spending nearly a year in London with her husband Anand Ahuja, Sonam Kapoor returned to Mumbai last week. And while her arrival piqued the interest of the paparazzi, there was something else that caught everyone's attention. Sporting a floral maxi dress, netizens assumed that the actor was next-in-line to announce her pregnancy!
At the airport, Sonam was received by her father Anil Kapoor and was greeted by the Mumbai paps. She had donned a blue midi dress with a structured jacket and a matching face mask.
Just a day ago, the actor took to social media to put an end to the baseless speculations regarding her pregnancy. Sonam Kapoor posted a photograph on her Instagram Stories that read, "Hot water bottle and ginger tea for (the) first day of my period." Well, well, so that's that.
Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with boyfriend Anand Ahuja on 8th May 2018 in a star-studded Anand Karaj ceremony that was followed by an after-party. Post their nuptials—and amidst the pandemic—the couple has been spending most of their time in their Notting Hill residence in London. On the work front, the actor was last seen in The Zoya Factor, alongside Dulquer Salmaan. The actor's upcoming project, Blind, which is directed by Shome Makhija, is expected to hit the screens sometime later this year.
