Wait, What? Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are Allegedly Engaged?!!

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's relationship sky-rocketed from wearing the same brand to the MET Gala in 2017, to cozying up on Memorial Day Weekend this year — the latter sparking off rumours of a relationship brewing. But when they started meeting each other's families, fans and the media couldn't help but speculate a possible engagement and the rumours started doing the rounds of the Internet. 

Not only did Nick accompany Priyanka to India (where they were spotted wearing promise bands, for crying out loud!), the two have also gone Instagram official and have been inseparable ever since. Many inside sources have been claiming that they plan to get engaged, or are already engaged but nobody actually believed it until this director posted a cryptic tweet, making things a little too clear.

Yes, Priyanka was starring in a film called Bharat opposite Salman Khan, which was an Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. We say 'was', because the filmmaker confirmed that PeeCee was opting out of the film for a very "special" reason. 

While the tweet speaks for itself, People magazine also confirms that they have insider information that Jonas and Chopra are in fact engaged ever since her birthday! Apparently, Nick closed down a Tiffany store in New York City to buy an engagement ring, and is very happy with the decision. However, none of them have given any official statement accepting or denying these rumours.

Priyanka recently talked about her relationship in an interview with an international magazine saying,

 "We're getting to know each other and I think it was a great experience for him. That's what he said. I think he really enjoyed it. It was really beautiful. He had a great time."
