Looks Like Meghan Markle Was Already Aware of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra's Reported Engagement!

You're probably still reeling under the effect of the news that broke headlines a couple of days ago, yes we're talking about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's alleged engagement. People news reported that the duo made it official after just two months of dating, when Nick popped the question with a Tiffany & Co. engagement ring that he procured in London earlier this month. And yes, apparently he "shut down" the entire store to buy it! (Brownie points to the pop-star!)

However, none of them have given any official statement accepting or denying these rumours, yet. But, to add further to the speculation, E! News reported that PeeCee introduced Nick to her friend Meghan Markle when she was in the UK for her birthday earlier this month. According to a source, the Quantico actor received the seal of approval for her fiancé and the Duchess of Sussex is "very excited" for the soon-to-be husband and wife. US Weekly also reported that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas spent some time at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's house in Oxfordshire, England.

"Everyone is very happy and they are definitely a great match," the insider further shared.

Priyanka was a very important part of the bride's crew when Meghan got married to Prince Harry in May, and had even dedicated a special post on Instagram for her friend wishing her well for her married life.

In an interesting interview, Priyanka had talked about her friendship with the former actor now Duchess, and shared how it all began.

"We bonded as actors. We just became friends, like two girls would," she said.

The two met at ELLE Women in Television dinner and on Wendy Williams' chat show in May 2017, Chopra said that she'd known Markle for "about two years now". 

Clearly, long-distance and being generally busy in life hasn't come in between their friendship, Markle once revealed in an interview, "We’ve managed to keep in touch via email and text, and try to see each other whenever we’re both in the same town."

While there's no scoop on the wedding dates, we know one thing for sure — there's gonna be a Royal couple in the guest-list. *hyperventilating*
