Shah Rukh Khan started his career with the serial Fauji. He played the character of commando Abhimanyu Rai. In the year 1992, he debuted in the movie, Deewana.


One of the finest actor in the industry, Vidya Balan had to struggle a lot to get noticed. Before Bollywood happened, Vidya worked in the famous serial Hum Paanch.

In 2008, Yami bagged her first role in a TV serial. This was followed by a few other assignments. However, she got recognition from the serial, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga KamIn 2012, Yami made her Bollywood debut with the movie, Vicky Donor. 

R Madhavan started his career with TV serials like Banegi Apni Baat, Sea Hawks and Ghar Jamai. In 2001, he did the movie Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and got nominated for Best Male Debut Award.

Aditya Roy Kapoor started his career as a VJ. After this stint on TV, Aditya debuted with the movie, London Dreams.

Pulkit Samrat moved to Mumbai in 2005 and got recognition from his very first TV serial. In 2012 he got the first break in Bollywood with Bittoo Boss. However, Fukrey (2013)  made people notice his talent. 

Prachi Desai was a teenager when she got selected to play the lead role in a TV drama. She received a lot of love from her fans. In 2008, Prachi stepped foot in B-town with her debut movie, Rock On!!

From Roadies to Vicky Donor, Ayushmann Khurrana came a long way. In 2004, the actor won the reality TV show , Roadies. After that he worked as a radio jockey, a video jockey, and even worked as a TV host for a reality show. In 2012, Ayushmann marked his strong presence in industry by debuting in the movie Vicky Donor. 

Do you remember the girl on the right in 'Shakalaka Boom Boom'? The cute Karuna from this serial had completely transformed by the time she debuted in Aap Kaa Surroor  movie in 2007. 

Sushant Singh Rajput was auditioned and given a role in the serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil after the casting team spotted him in a theatre group. The first character he played got popular but was killed early in the show. However, the serial Pavitra Rishta made him a household name in the country. In 2011 he quit the show to enter the film industry. Since 2013 Sushant has done movies like Kai Po Che, Shuddh Desi Romance, PK, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, etc.
