78 Times Kate Middleton Re-wore Her Clothes

The Duchess of Cambridge first debuted this scarlet red dress from Alexander McQueen when she went on a boat ride down the River Thames for a Diamond Jubilee event.

It re-emerged two years later for a reception for the dramatic arts at Buckingham Palace. No hat this time, but great expression!

For this dress's threepeat, Kate sported her infamous fringe. The bright red suited the occasion: a Christmas party at the Anna Freud Centre Family School. And she did a hand dance with the kids!

Newly engaged, the royal couple returned to their alma mater, St. Andrews in Scotland, for a fundraising event two months before their wedding. Kate wore a red jacket and skirt from Luisa Spagnoli.

Kate wore the Luisa Spagnoli again in 2014 during a visit to Christchurch, New Zealand as part of a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand. She also played cricket in the outfit. Because princesses should be able to play cricket in anything, duh!

Kate wore the separates again when she received a book from Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty in London.

While hanging out with the Danish royals, Will and Kate stopped by a UNICEF emergency supply center and Kate looked on as Will ate some food. She wore a dark red coat from L.K. Bennett, one of her favorite brands and maker of her trusty nude pumps.

The coat came out to play again a year later during an appearance at a rugby match in Cardiff, Wales.

Kate put her hair in soft waves (possibly her first and last time wearing this hair) and buckled up her red coat for a meeting with The Royal British Legion's London Poppy Day Appeal at Kensington Palace.

Kate brought out the coat again for an event at the Stephen Lawrence Centre in London about a month before giving birth to Charlotte.

For another in-law wedding (the union of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall) in Scotland, Kate brought back the Day Birger et Mikkelsen, but opted to go with a giant potato chip flower hat.

For another repeat, Kate wore the coat when she made an appearance at the London Paralympic Games. No hat at all this time! The coat is sad.

Kate wore this champagne-hued lace Alexander McQueen sheath when she attended a national service of thanksgiving for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at St Paul's Cathedral in London.

Another June, same dress: This time, for the garden party at Buckingham Palace, the duchess went without a belt.

To attend the Thistle Ceremony in Edinburgh, Kate wore a bespoke Emilia Wickstead coat dress in yellow. William became a part of the Order of the Thistle that day.

It took four years for Kate to rewear the coat dress, but she did it! She stepped off the plane in Thimphu, Bhutan, to greet her hosts wearing sunny yellow.

Wearing a bright green belted Catherine Walker coat dress, Kate stood by Will as he shoveled dirt at the National Arboretun in Canberra, Australia, during their tour.

Kate stopped to smell the roses at the Chelsea Flower Show in London with other members of the royal family in the green Catherine Walker.

For her first official Christmas as a royal, Kate wore an olive green knee-length coat from Reiss.

As the royal patron of Place2Be, a children's mental health charity, Kate joined school children at Salusbury Primary School in London to film a video message about the importance of mental health.
