One of the most anticipated weddings of the year finally took place this week in Lake Como, Italy. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in two different ceremonies — one Konkani and one Sindhi — and are now officially husband and wife.

While the wedding was kept heavily under wraps, fans clamoured for photos and inside details of the grand event. After the official photos came out last night, slowly, more and more details have also started coming to light.

Reports suggest that the couple followed traditions to the T, and kept everything as authentic as possible. So much so, that they even had a makeshift Gurudwara built for the Sindhi ceremony. It was built inside the villa, and they even had a priest fly in from Amritsar!

Talk about keeping things real!
