Did You Know Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Got Engaged Four Years Ago?

We've all seen how a reel life casting done for a film sometimes translates into a real-life relationship in Bollywood. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli met on the sets of a TV commercial and are now happily married. Even Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan got the chance to know each other better on the sets of Tashan. Another couple whose love blossomed on the movie set, thanks to the casting wizards, was Deepika and Ranveer. 

For the past six years DeepVeer made several appearances in public together. They dodged the questions about their relationship like a pro, without holding back their PDA. 

However, in a recent interview Deepika revealed something that just blew our mind and proved how fandom was so true about their relationship all this time. 

When asked about marriage, the actor said,

"I was never unsure about him. Of course, in a six-year long relationship, you go through your ups and downs but we never broke up. There was no major fight or saying let’s take time off and figure this out. We’ve fought; we’ve had our ups and downs. But we stuck through all of that. We got engaged four years ago."

WHAAA....!!!

Deepika added, 

"No one knows this.  We got engaged four years ago. Only his parents and my parents and our respective sisters knew about it."
