The Fashion Designers Who Were Behind These Stunning Celebrity Wedding Lehengas

Aishwarya Rai opted for a gorgeous kanjeevaram sari that was created for her by fashion designer Neeta Lulla. The sari featured real gold thread-work, further embellished with elegant crystals. She chose to accessorise this traditional ensemble with polki jewellery, a gold arm-band, gold hair accessories and fragrant gajra flowers.
Anushka wore a pale pink Sabyasachi lehenga with delicate embroidery in hues of pink, green, and yellow. The lehenga was also embellished with silver-gold metal thread, pearls, and beads. She accessorised her stunning ensemble with an uncut diamond and spinel choker, earrings, and a matha patti from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection.
For her big day, actor Bipasha Basu opted for a traditional red and gold Sabyasachi lehenga. The heavily-embroidered lehenga and blouse featured intricate gold zari work and she paired the Bengali ensemble with kundan jewellery from Jaipur Jewels.
For the Sindhi-Punjabi ceremony, Deepika went for a red wedding lehenga by designer Sabyasachi. For her South-Indian style wedding, Esha Deol wore a traditional red and orange lehenga style sari by designer Neeta Lulla. She accessorised this look with gold jewellery; a matha patti, jhumkas, layered necklaces and a kamarband.
Isha Ambani's gorgeous wedding lehenga was created by designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and featured 16 hand-embroidered panels. The duo designers also provided a special drape, her mom's 35-year-old bandhini wedding sari.
Recently married Kajal Aggarwal, who is an established name in the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industry, wore an intricately hand-embroidered Anamika Khanna lehenga for her wedding. It was handwoven with intricate zardozi, pearl and thread work that created a beautiful floral design. It took 20 craftsmen about a month, working day and night, to create the garment.

For her dream wedding with actor Shahid Kapoor, Mira opted for a blush pink Anamika Khanna lehenga. Bidding adieu to the traditional reds, Mira made a statement in this pretty-pink ensemble. She accessorised her bridal look with a multi-coloured gemstone necklace, a maang tikka, pearl earrings, and a traditional passa.
Did you know that Neha's wedding lehenga arrived just 10 hours before her wedding? She opted for a gorgeous pastel pink minimal lehenga by designer Anita Dongre. Crafted using a rich silk fabric,the lehenga featured a combination of age-old Rajasthani embroideries, including gota patti, dori, zardozi and zari. The dupatta had a mint green border and tassel details.
