'Emily in Paris' season 6 first look: Are Emily and Gabriel together again?

Emily Cooper may have finally made her way back to Gabriel, and honestly, it only took five seasons, several love triangles, one move to Rome, another move to Greece, and enough outrageous clothes to keep us hate-watching. Netflix has released the first-look photos for Emily in Paris Season 6, and among the glamorous new images is one detail that has fans asking the question they have been asking for years: are Emily and Gabriel together again?

The sixth and final season picks up in Greece after a particularly complicated fifth season for Emily. After moving to Rome and falling for Marcello, Emily seemed ready to build a new life in Italy. But their relationship ultimately fell apart when they realised they wanted different things. Emily chose Paris and her career, while Marcello wanted a life together in Solitano.

Just when it looked like Emily might finally be closing the door on her complicated history with Gabriel, the show opened it right back up. Gabriel, who had been working as a private yacht chef, sent Emily a postcard inviting her to meet him in Greece.

And now, the first-look photos suggest Emily actually took him up on that invitation. The images released by Netflix show Lily Collins' Emily and Lucas Bravo's Gabriel together in Greece, surrounded by flowers and trees and all things romantic. Emily is also seen enjoying the Greek setting with Mindy, while other photos tease the return of familiar faces and more romantic complications.

Of course, Emily and Gabriel being in the same place does not necessarily mean they are officially back together. Their relationship has been one of the show's biggest sources of drama since Season 1, when Emily discovered that her gorgeous downstairs neighbour was already dating Camille. What followed was a very long, very complicated cycle of attraction, bad timing, breakups, and almost-romances. Even when they finally got together, their relationship was tested by Gabriel's ambitions, Camille's pregnancy storyline, and Emily's ever-expanding list of romantic possibilities.

Season 5 appeared to leave Gabriel and Emily in a surprisingly hopeful place. After seeing Emily with Marcello, Gabriel was clearly affected, but instead of immediately rekindling their romance, the two went their separate ways. Emily's breakup with Marcello then gave Gabriel an opening, and his postcard from Greece became the season's biggest hint about what could come next.

Now, with Emily and Gabriel bumping into each other in Greece, it looks like the final season is going to revisit that unfinished love story. Whether this is the beginning of their happily ever after or simply another chapter in their endless will-they-won't-they remains to be seen. What we do know is that Emily in Paris Season 6 will premiere on Netflix sooner than we thought. The ultimate season will go on air on December 24, 2026, giving fans one final holiday-season dose of romance, fashion, and relationship chaos before they finally draw the curtains.
