“Automate your investment...NOW. The poor mindset is that you have your income, and whatever is left of it after expenses, if left, will be invested. The rich mindset is that I will first make investments with my income and then use whatever is left for monthly expenses. So, as soon as you get your income, sweep off a certain amount, ideally 40 per cent to your investment pool. And while you are investing, be passive with them and active with your income. By which I mean, spend more time thinking about how you can generate more income, and as far as your investments are concerned, invest and forget about it so it can compound and grow. Patience is key, and if you can do that, by about 40 you should be at a place where you don’t have to work to make your life work.”

“Start a skincare routine now, the moment you decide on it. Keep it simple. Just a face wash, moisturiser, and sunscreen is also okay to do contrary to social media. Set realistic goals for skincare. Good skin takes time, so be patient and do it religiously for the next few months to see a difference. In case you are forgetful, keep phone reminders. Start with simple steps like keeping the sunscreen near your house keys so you apply it before you step out or remove your make-up as soon as you reach home. Finally, schedule regular follow-ups with your dermatologists to understand your skin and keep the motivation to do the right skincare for you going (think being with a trainer to ensure a proper exercise routine).”

“Your fashion, your style, is an extension of who you are. And that comes from your way of living, the books you read, the things you like to watch...essentially how you lead your life. So, I think finding what you love and sticking to your personality is key. What we wear should ebb and flow with the emotions we are feeling, what we are experiencing in different stages of life, and what we really enjoy being in. You must follow your own style, not try to be somebody or wear something because it is trending. Fashion or style is about who you are, about what your true beauty and personality is, and not my or really anyone’s definition of what is good, trendy, or classy. It is so personal to you. So you do you!”

“First of all, prioritise with purpose—Start each day by identifying your top three tasks. These are the actions that align with your long-term goals. Prioritising helps you focus on what matters most and prevents you from getting caught up in distractions. Secondly, time blocking is your superpower—dedicate blocks of time to specific tasks. Whether it is an hour for deep work or 20 minutes for a break, structure your day intentionally. This creates a rhythm, reducing decision fatigue and increasing efficiency. Lastly, stay consistent, not perfect—Productivity isn’t about being perfect every day. It is about consistently showing up and making progress. Don’t let a bad day stop you from moving forward. Get back on track the next day, and over time, you’ll see massive growth.”
Aruna Gopakumar | Psychotherapist, Master Coach Certified-ICF
“Normalise mental health challenges and make space for emotions. Take a long-term approach to mental health rather than distracting yourself from painful emotions. Observe patterns that are persistent and take support where needed. Make journalling, exercising, and mindfulness an integral part of your life. It is important to honour your individuality—your values, quirks, and imperfections—while engaging flexibly with groups when needed. The key is not to lose yourself in the process. Spending time knowing yourself will help you with that. Finally, set healthy boundaries. Disconnect from work and social media regularly. Focus on building genuine, supportive relationships rather than measuring your worth against curated online personas. Boundaries are also a vital act of self-care in relationships.”
Namrata Purohit | Celebrity Fitness Coach & Sports Nutritionist
“Make sure to keep it all about the mind and body. While it is important to focus on physical health, mental health plays an important role too. The kind of exercise regime you pick could directly impact and benefit both. In the limited time that one may have given the fast-paced life most people live, it is important to find a fitness routine that helps you mentally and physically. And while you make space for fitness, don’t look for quick results, instead give yourself time and work hard. Consistency is the key, and making fitness a part of your lifestyle and diet is the way to reap its benefits. Don’t fall for fads and quick fixes, they will never be the answer you are looking for long-term health.”
