It’s International Museum Day and if you are a history buff, we get how much you miss touring museums, observing art and artefacts, finding out about bygone eras. Well, today you may not be able to physically step out and walk into a museum but you can still tour a few famous ones from the comfort of your couch, dressed in your pyajamas. So here’s a list of virtual museum tours that are absolutely free.

Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York

The Met Gala may have been cancelled this year, you may not get to see your favourite celebs dressed in spectacular, dramatic costumes but you can check out The Costume Institute Conversation Lab, which is a part of the museum’s 26 online exhibits that is open to the public via a virtual tour.

Museum of Broken Relationships, Zagreb

This is the museum, you need to visit if you are nursing a broken heart. The Museum of broken Relatiohsips at Zagreb, Croatia looks back at lost love in a nostalgic way. Each item on display is reminiscent of the donor’s failed relationship. From black heels that belonged to a prostitute in 1966 to a letter written by a 13-year-old boy on the brink of World War 2 to the crust of the first wound of a lover, the exhibits are immensely interesting and evoke a range of reactions.
