From mental to physical development of the baby, no amount of effort seems too much for a couple to consider when there's a baby on the way.

Which is why it's important to discuss the development in the department of intelligence of the baby for expecting mothers. Apparently, there's a way to enhance the intelligence of your baby by eating certain foods during pregnancy.

Fatty Fish

Eating wild-caught oily (fatty) fish, during your pregnancy is the best for the brain development of your child. Fatty fish is one of the richest in Omega 3 fatty acids. This fat is crucial for your baby's intellect because 60% of the human brain is fat and 20% of it is DHA and ARA. These foods not only help form the brain tissue but also help to generate the gene expression in it and build a stronger immune system.

In an attempt to balance the potential harms of pollutants with the general health benefits of fish, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's 2014 guidelines encourage pregnant women to eat fish, but no more than 12 ounces per week.
