In Baani City Centre, this one offers weekend salsa sessions, decadent brunches, musical performances, art classes, discussions of books and fashion…you name it.

Think Hilton and what comes to mind is it's award-winning hospitality. Each of the brands have a unique personality and put forward a distinct stay experience. This is what I felt when I stay in the newly opened Hilton Baani City Centre Gurugram. It felt like a home away from home.

Oh, it was sure a home I wouldn’t mind coming back to every day. Complete with the kindest staff, the most sumptuous meals, and luxury that one gets used to soon enough. I could wake up in that bed (which miraculously cured my long painful neck cricks), take a swim in the pool to work up an appetite for the widespread breakfast buffet, take a nap if not work in the room lounge, maybe take a spa break and yet again indulge in their vast menu, even grab one of their special Delhi-inspired cocktails before I call it a day any time you ask. But to sum it up so simplistically would be a disservice, because there is so much the group offers with this property.

A staycation to beat the week blues

It all starts as soon as you enter the property—with its grand statured interiors that are at once airy and comforting, earthy tones juxtaposed perfectly with greens, and colour pops, and a sprawling lawn to boot.

Not far away from the bustling lanes of the heart of Delhi-NCR, sure Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre offers the plush amenities for all those travelling for business with its many ballrooms meeting rooms, but it distinguishes itself in everything it offers for a perfect weekend getaway with friends and family too—with its green cover (which includes three grand centuries-old olive trees flown in from Spain that accentuate the restaurant, cafe, and lobby), premium spa services and pool, and the comfort of impeccable service and rooms (carefully designed, spacious, decadent, and as easy access as it gets).

Lavish food and bar menus

When it comes to food, there is no stop that has not been pulled. Kitchen Craft, the all-day restaurant, offers anything you can possibly imagine, and no, this is not an exaggeration. Over the two days, we ate everything from the staple salad and soup spreads, to Indian, Chinese, Lebanese, Italian, and a dessert selection that easily beat every other that we’ve experienced. A special mention to their beetroot and burrata salad, bean bruschetta, mushroom cappuccino, ricotta and spinach ravioli, mezze platter, and barbeque specials (oh yes, they have a barbeque night to boot!).

At their bar, Tayles, the classics are, of course, perfectly made, but it is their special Delhi street food-inspired cocktail menu that is a must try, all of them. And if this is all too much to digest, take a coffee break at Cafe O Lait, where their croissants and sourdough are, well, simply yum.

Activities galore

Remember how we were talking about Hilton Baani City Centre becoming your go-to weekend getaway—a space to declutter from your busy week and indulge in art, music, dance and more? Well, they’re making sure of it with the many events on offer, not just for those staying with them but also anyone who wants to come in for the day or night.

While the salsa nights have already become a crowd favourite, the hotel also recently launched Brunch Tayles, an extravagant Sunday brunch perfect for the Spring. You can also expect musical nights, fashion showcases, book talks, art classes, and lots more. We’re thinking a cultural hub with a side of luxury, and we are all for it. Aren’t you yet? You might want to, asap.
