Hibiscus—a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae—is loaded with Vitamin A and C, and is known to promote hair growth and improve overall volume. In fact, a 2003 study indicated that a leaf extract of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis positively affected hair length and follicles in lab rats. Besides boosting hair growth, it is believed that the plant combats hair fall, prevents premature graying, treats dandruff and split ends, and also provide moisture to your tresses.

A commonly recommended hair oil, the lubricant properties in almond soften, strengthen and repair your mane, along with treating a range of scalp conditions. Much of the benefit provided by this ingredient can be owed to its high Vitamin E content. Lastly, coconut oil slows down loss of hair by penetrating deep into the hair shaft to prevent protein loss, which in turn, prevents breakage. It also gets rid of the build-up around your hair follicles to kickstart hair growth.
