Let's be honest... Tik-Tok is a gift that keeps on giving when it comes to viral beauty trends. Surprisingly, most of them work too including the reverse cat-eye trend. A sweet twist to the classic cat-eyeliner, this one has been spotted by Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, and many others!

We love how it's equal parts edgy and fierce. Also, brownie points to this eye look because it's great for those with hooded eyes. The trend's taken off on the app after Los Angeles-based makeup artist Spencer shared a video of trying out the reverse liner. He captioned the video as, “Have you tried the reverse cat eye? It's my favourite.”

All you have to do to create this is use a taupe brown colour to highlight the crease of the upper lid. Once it's blown out softly, move on to the main part. Take your gel liner in black and line your lower waterline. Extend the liner a bit towards the inner eye, make sure you do this step carefully and don't go all out.

Next, take a packed pencil brush softly smudge out the liner by diffusing it out on the edges. Make sure to flick a winger outside to get the whole reverse effect. Complete the look with a generous coat of mascara. Check out some recreations below.
