Bella Hadid channels her inner Marilyn Monroe with new platinum hair transformation

There are very few things that are guaranteed in this life, but Bella Hadid being a brunette is one of them. That was, until the model decided to go platinum blonde. I repeat, platinum blonde.

Gigi Hadid is usually the reigning blonde queen within the Hadid family, but Bella is giving her sister a run for her money with this new platinum 'do. Even we had to do a double take.

Marilyn, is that you? The model looks eerily similar to the Old Hollywood icon in these pics showcasing her new cropped bleach blonde curls. You have to see it to believe it:

Although Bella is just posting a behind the scenes look of the new 'do now, the hair was actually debuted not so secretly at the end of last year in a shoot for indie mag, CHAOS.

The hair transformation was done by none other than hair legend, Sam McKnight, and we're huge fans. The retro platinum curls were paired with super skinny 90s brows and barely-there makeup by artistry queen, Isamaya Ffrench. Talk about a dream team.

It's not the first time Bella has dipped her toe in sister Gigi's blonde world. The model did try out the shade way back when in 2019, but it's never been this platinum before. I mean, it's so bright we almost need sunglasses to look directly at it.

Although we know in hindsight these neon blonde curls were a wig, it clearly inspired Bella, as she was seen sporting a more eau naturel honey blonde shade after the shoot took place.

The model joins a few other celebs that have recently joined the blonde hair club. Both Megan Fox and Ariana Grande have both recently taken the plunge and we're having to restrain ourselves from picking up the bleach.

One thing's for sure, we love this new blonde era for Bella.
