“For this look, I prepped Deepika Padukone’s skin with the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentré—it’s a great multi-tasker, and can be used as a primer, moisturiser, and make-up remover—and Bobbi Brown’s Under Eye Cream. I layered it with Pat McGrath’s Sublime Perfection Primer to create a smooth canvas. Eyes are the focal point of the look, and I used the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look Palette on the lids and crease, and topped it with Giorgio Armani’s Eye Tint Liquid in Copper Sheen to create a fluid shine. It’s also important to tight-line the rims with a gel liner to add depth. Voluminous lashes are a must if you want drama—I used individual lashes on Deepika’s eyes, and coated ’em with loads of mascara. For the brows: I just brushed them out, filled in wherever needed, and set them with a clear gel. Next step: base. I took a drop or two of the Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Foundation and buffed it into the skin. I followed it with light cream contouring with two different blushes: cream and powder to add dimension to the face, and finished up with the Skin Fetish Highlighter + Balm Duo. Strong eyes should always be paired with muted lips. On Deepika, we lined the lips with a nude lip liner, and used two shades—beige and rosy-nude—to create the perfect pout.”
