This Is The Most Beautiful Face In The World, According To Science

We all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and someone that you may think is drop dead gorgeous will elicit no more than a shrug from your best friend. However, when it comes to the scientific definition of beauty, it seems we have a winner for the title of world's most beautiful woman, and that's none other than Hollywood actress Amber Heard.

According to the latest methods of facial mapping, which are used to measure the symmetry and ratios of the face, Amber comes in tops in the beauty stakes. Her features are most closely attuned to the Greek 'Golden Ratio' of beauty – the ancient Greeks' map for physical perfection. Harley Street surgeon Dr Julian De Silva says Amber's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin jaw and facial shape were a 91.85% match to the ratio.

Other high-scoring celebrities were Kim Kardashian, with 91.39%, Kate Moss with 91.06% and Emily Ratajkowski, who had a 90.8% match. Speaking of the analysis, Dr De Silva said: 'The results were startling and showed several famous actresses and models have facial features that come close to the ancient Greek principles for physical perfection.'

We can't say we're that surprised to hear that the world's most famous models and actresses are absolute hotties, but at least we now know who (scientifically) is the fairest of them all…
