We put him to the test by letting him loose on four different hair types: fine, shortish, coily and kinky hair, and asking him to show us just how to achieve his pro braids at home. Here's how he styles shortish hair...STEP ONESection your hair into four to make the braid easier, using the picture above as a rough guide . STEP TWO Take three strands of hair from one side of your head, they can be as big or as little as you like, we went quite big. Start braiding by taking the outer strand over the middle, then repeat once. Then, instead of continuing with the same strands, drop the right one and pick up another piece of hair in it's place, plait that over the central strand, then drop it and pick up another piece of hair. Repeat until you get to the center of your scalp and secure with a hairgrip.
