Janhvi Kapoor: 'Growing Up, Khushi And I Would Imitate Shah Rukh Khan And Deepika Padukone's Iconic Scenes From Om Shanti Om'

You know how young Bollywood actresses always embarrassed the senior actors by saying they've grown up watching their movies? Well, we have another member in that squad, who'd not only make Shah Rukh Khan, but also Deepika Padukone feel old.

Although it only feels like it's only been a couple of years since Om Shanti Om released, but it's surprising how time flies. Janhvi Kapoor, who's all set to rock her big Bollywood debut with Dhadak, says she grew up idolising Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone.

According to PTI, the young star kid said, "I always wanted to see myself on screen. I remember I would watch random movies, and was obsessed with Om Shanti Om. I would enact every scene from the film and force Khushi to be Shah Rukh Khan and I'd be Deepika, doing that typical hand wave. Even with the film Titanic, Khushi would be Jack and I'd be Rose, and we would say those lines to each other, 'I'd never let go!'"

"Even in real life, we are dramatic and filmy. Everything is life and death, the stakes are always high. The most filmy person in our family is my father. He is the most dramatic, about anything and everything. Our lives revolve around cinema, it's all movies," she added.

You are the reason for our strength. Love you, happy birthday Arjun bhaiya ❤️
