Twitter Is Pissed at Khloé Kardashian for “Introducing Diet Culture” to True and Chicago
  • Khloé Kardashian is getting dragged for a caption about True Thompson and Kim Kardashian’s daughter Chicago West.
  • People are accusing her of introducing calorie counting to babies.

True Thompson and Chicago West are a whole-ass mood with their hands deep in snack bags while on vacation. The photos Khloé Kardashian shared on her Instagram and Twitter are the epitome of adorable, but some of Khloé’s Twitter followers are dragging her because of her caption.

So the photos in question are of cousins True and Chicago sitting next to each other and eating bags of Cheetos Puffs and Garden Veggie Straws while vacationing in the Bahamas. (I stan.) And Khloé decided to make the caption all about calorie counting, you know, as you do when you’re talking about literal babies who don’t even know what a calorie is. She created an imaginary exchange between the two kids and wrote, “Chi: I heard my mama say vacation calories don’t count. True: Don’t tell me twice, Chi.”

Predictably, Twitter is furious and accused Khloé of “introducing diet culture” to children. One person said, “Because nothing makes a family photo like jokes about calorie counting around children.” And this one just gets straight to the point:

Another follower tried to be empathetic and said that she realizes this is a joke but wants Khloé to understand the damage that comments like these can cause for kids.

On the flip side, other people said this is nothing more than Khloé “teaching healthy eating habits.”

Meanwhile, some of her other fans saw this as an opportunity to talk about how the kids are drinking water out of what looks to be plastic straws. (It’s really hard to tell if they’re paper or plastic in these pictures.)

Basically, her comments section is a hot mess right now, and if you happen to scroll through them all, you’ll want to bury yourself in the sand or something.
