The Trailer For 'the Fault in Our Stars' Remake Starring Sushant Rajput Is Out !

A day before the trailer release of Dil Bechara, its debutant actress, Sajana Sanghi aka Kizie Bassu tweeted, "Nobody ever told me this is what Pre-Trailer jitters could feel like..."

The trailer of Dil Bechara starring Sushant Rajput, a Bollywood remake of The Fault In Our Stars has left its viewers feeling emotional and nostalgic. Not only does the 3-minute video take us back to memories of John Green's iconic novel, but it also brings to its viewers the last few on-screen moments of Sushant Singh Rajput.

As the trailer reveals, Sushant plays the character of Manny, a free-spirited, optimistic, cheer-spreader. Kizie (Sanjana Sanghi) on the other hand, introduces herself as a cancer patient. The first half of the trailer highlights the developments in their relationship. The two protagonists fall for each other while having conversations over the phone, sharing music, and dancing. Manny’s sunshine vibe and quirky one-liners,” I am a serial kisser and you are a serial killer” do call for chuckle or two. Irrespective of being, a cancer survivour himself, Manny puts his past behind him and Kizie's happiness before him. Their soulful connection takes a turn in the second half of the trailer as the complexities of love emerge. Kizie is seen embracing her joyous moments with Manny but is being afraid to share her pain. Therefore, distancing herself from him. We spy glimpses of the couple travelling to Paris (the city of love, of course). Their beautiful love story, its attempt to fight the inevitable stringencies of life, and the fact that this is Sushant Singh Rajput's last film has mellowed down the audiences but has also ensured that #DilBecharaTrailer is trending on twitter. The actor's fans are eager to break all records by making the trailer cross 100 million views and 10 million likes in 24 hours. Watch the trailer that premiered today, below.

In the words of Hazel and Augustus, "Okay? (not really) Okay."
