Will Alia Bhatt Be Making Her Hollywood Debut in 2022?

While the Raazi actor has been making the headlines amidst rumours regarding her grand wedding to Ranbir Kapoor—which has reportedly been pushed to April next year—lately, she's been in the news for another reason. A recent report claims that Alia Bhatt is all set to announce her first Hollywood project in the coming year! (rejoice, Alia fans). The actor has signed up with William Morris Endeavour (WME), an American talent agency, to further her career in the West.

While details of the project are not known, speculations suggest that a particular script has caught the attention of the star, and she is in talks to finalise the deal. A source reveals that Alia Bhatt is a huge fan of Jennifer Lawrence and wants to pick up projects that have a similar tone and appeal. The William Morris Endeavour (WME) talent agency also represents other big names in Hollywood, including Oprah Winfrey, Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, and  Charlize Theron. 

According to India Today, Alia has received multiple offers but is being mindful of picking the right one to kickstart her Hollywood journey. Reportedly, she has asked her agency to aggressively look for projects for her. Concerning Bollywood, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, and S.S Rajamouli's RRR. She will also be seen alongside Ranveer Singh in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and in Farhan Akhtar directed Jee Le Zaraa, with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.  

Eternal Sunshine Production—a production company launched by the actor—will also feature Alia Bhatt in their first project Darlings, in association with Red Chillies Entertainment.
