Rakul Preet Singh talks all things beauty, breakfast and what she does to unwind

Rakul Preet Singh is all things chill in this chat.

It’s been a year to remember for Rakul Preet Singh with as many as five fantastic films at the box office. The actor is oozing confidence these days and knows that she’s only just started with her best yet to come. No prize for guessing that Singh, is her radiant self when Cosmopolitan India caught up with her for a quick chat at the India Today Conclave 2022 in Mumbai. Here are the excerpts.

Cosmopolitan India: What is the one beauty hack that you came across that is now part of your routine?

Rakul Preet Singh: It’s a hack that my mother taught me. It was to use every fruit that you eat. Be it papaya, tomatoes, or haldi besan and curd for that matter.

Cosmopolitan India: Which are the three make-up products that you can't do without?

RPS: I’d say lip balm, to begin with. And while I’m not too much of a makeup person, I’d say a good sunscreen and tint.

Cosmopolitan India: What’s your favourite thing to eat for breakfast?

RPS: I love eggs!

Cosmopolitan India: How do you prepare for your roles?

RPS: I think each role requires diff things. Some require you to learn a certain thing or do something that you’ve never done before. Take for example me and my diction for the role of Dr Fatima in Doctor G. Add to that, there are certain roles where you just get into the character psychologically—a recent example being this thriller that I'm part of where I kept myself contained mentally.

Cosmopolitan India: What do you like to do on your day off?

RPS: I love to go for a round of golf, have brunch with my friends and watch a movie.
