On July 8th, 1996 iconic British pop girl group, Spice Girls released their debut single “Wannabe”. It went on to become one of the biggest chartbusters of the 90s catapulting Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) into the limelight. More than two decades later, the track is still hugely popular and the outfits from the music video still influence wardrobes globally.

Each one had a distinctive style, while Mel C popularised sporty grunge, Emma did justice to the Barbie-fied girl next door image, Mel B pulled off plenty of leopard prints and Geri and Victoria wore micro-mini dresses like a second skin.
