ICYMI, Here’s a Quick Recap of Father’s Day Messages from B’Town

Presenting some special Father’s Day wishes by Bollywood celebs that are sure to tug on your heartstrings.

Not all are blessed in life to have strong parental figures, ones that love us unconditionally and are always there to guide us and support us when times get difficult. But if one is, then expressing your gratitude towards them and letting them know about their many contributions to your life is never a futile gesture. With Father’s Day being celebrated the world over recently, check out how some Bollywood celebs also took to their social media to wish their fathers, posting messages and pictures that invoke affection and nostalgia.

Sara Ali Khan kept it simple with a picture of the lunch that her brother Ibrahim and their ‘Abba Jaan’ Saif Ali Khan went on to celebrate the day.

Abhishek Bachchan wished his father, the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, saying, “Main man! Happy Father’s Day, Pa. Love you.”

Karan Johar thanked his mother Hiroo on the occasion and credited her for giving him the courage to go ahead and become a single parent to his two children, Roohi and Yash.

Madhuri Dixit Nene wished her husband on behalf of her boys, and spoke about how fathers often act as a shield and protect their children.

Arjun Kapoor posted a picture of his sis Khushi along with their father, producer Boney Kapoor, hinting humorously that Khushi was perhaps the fave child as there were only images of her that he could find with him.

Sister duo, Karisma and Kareena, both took to the Gram to wish their father, Randhir Kapoor on the day with old photographs of them with him respectively. Karisma called him her ‘all-time favourite hero’.

As Ranbir Kapoor is conspicuous by absence on social media, his mother Neetu instead wished Rishi Kapoor instead, adding that the late actor will always be present in their hearts.

Kubbra Sait had a very special Father’s Day indeed, as she called and wished her father, Zakaria Sait, on the occasion for the very first time in two decades! She wrote a brief and sweet message about how they had so much more to discover about each other.

With a common message to her later father Surendra Shetty, and her husband, Raj Kundra, Shilpa expressed her gratitude to all the fathers in the world for their ‘hard work, sacrifices, and unconditional love’.
